Meet Rebekah Mesevage
Rebekah Mesevage is a healthcare transformation and change specialist with 18+ years of experience spanning clinical, operational, and programme delivery roles across Australia and the United States. As a Director at Higgs Insights, she brings a rare combination of frontline clinical insight, large-scale digital health delivery, and executive stakeholder engagement to the founders she supports.
Her career has been defined by a singular conviction: when healthcare systems work well, the people inside them can focus on what they were trained to do — care for patients. At McKinsey & Company, she was brought in to overhaul a stalled change management function on New York State's $7.5B Medicaid transformation. At Accenture, she stabilised Australia's national electronic health record program by designing transformation readiness frameworks to transition vendors and clinical stakeholders to new system baselines- a platform central to the country's interoperability agenda, contributing to a $100M+ contract extension. Rebekah understands what healthcare fragmentation costs at an operational level, and has spent her career building the governance frameworks and change strategies that reduce that friction. For health-related investors, she offers the ability to assess not just whether a product works, but whether clinicians and health systems will actually adopt it. She holds a Master of Leadership & Health Management (Global Health) from UNSW Sydney, grounding her strategic perspective in clinical realities.
